They are best used for products requiring a shock-absorbing, vibration dampening, insulation, barrier and/or buoyancy component. It provides cube optimization, it's durable, flexible and water-resistant.

    Polyethylene foam is a closed-cell 2.3 lbs density foam that will not absorb any water, mold, rot, or mildew. This foam has an outstanding dimensional stability characteristic that provides optimal cushioning and protection against repeated impacts. Polyethylene foam is commonly compared to the material used for kids' “pool noodles” and is very similar in texture flexibility, and appearance. This foam is commonly used for foam packaging for fragile or heavy items because of its one-of-a-kind vibration dampening and insulation properties. You can also use this foam for insulation barriers and or buoyancy components, surface protection, cold chain, automotive, sports & leisure, void fill, medical, construction, military, blocking and bracing, floor underlayment, recreational agriculture, archery targets, and can be used as temporary support for a broken-down sofa or chair decks. This foam is lightweight and can be easily fabricated and is cost-effective. Polyethylene is available in black, white, blue, and pink.

    * Yes only the PINK color is Anti-Static. Please contact us if you would like a spec sheet.

    7. Is there skin on both sides of Polyethylene foam?

    * Only 1", 2", 3" and 4" have skins on both sides. Any other thickness may not have skin OR may have skin on one side only. If you specifically need the skin, please let us know before placing the order for additional cost. 

    8. Is this HDPE (129C) OR LDPE (96C) which they can have different melting temperatures.

    * This is LDPE Material
