Foam N More Shipping & Fulfillment Policy

This Shipping & Fulfillment Policy explains how Foam N More processes, ships, and delivers orders. For cancellations, non-defective returns, and refund eligibility, please see Cancel, Refund, and Return Policy. For defects in materials and workmanship, please see Limited Warranty Policy. This policy works together with Foam N More’s Website Terms and Conditions.

1. General Fulfillment Approach

Many Foam N More products are made to order, including custom-cut foam, specialty shapes, and items with sewn covers. Because products may be cut, fabricated, or sewn to customer specifications, production time is often required before shipment.

  • Production time is separate from transit time.
  • Lead times vary by product type and by options such as covers, custom cutting, and specialty fabrication.
  • All lead times provided on the website, by phone, by email, in quotes, or in order communications are good-faith estimates unless Foam N More expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

If an order is time-sensitive, customers should contact Foam N More before placing the order so that available timing and any rush options can be discussed in advance.

2. Typical Lead Times

The following examples are intended to provide general guidance under normal operating conditions. Product pages, quotes, invoices, and order confirmations may provide more specific timing for a particular order.

  • Mattresses without a cover: typically ship in about 5-7 business days.
  • Mattresses with a cover: typically ship in about 10 business days.
  • Indoor Pole Bumpers without a cover: typically ship in about 2-3 business days.
  • Indoor Pole Bumpers with a cover: typically ship in about 5-7 business days.
  • Standard foam sheets, such as listed sheet foam cut only to size: typically ship in about 2-3 business days.
  • Custom, CNC-cut, waterjet-cut, or otherwise complex projects: may require substantially longer lead times and will be quoted based on the order requirements and current production volume.

Because Foam N More offers a wide variety of foam types, sizes, and fabrication options, actual lead times vary by order.

3. Estimated Ship Dates, Delays, and Rush Orders

Foam N More does not guarantee ship dates or delivery dates unless a rush fee or other expedited arrangement has been specifically agreed to in advance and confirmed in writing.

  • Standard orders: All ship dates and delivery dates are estimates only and may change based on material availability, production volume, order complexity, weather, and carrier performance.
  • If Foam N More cannot ship within the time stated for an order, or within 30 days when no shipping time is stated, Foam N More may notify the customer and provide the option to cancel for a refund to the extent required by applicable law.
  • Rush requests: Customers with a firm deadline should contact Foam N More before ordering. If Foam N More agrees to a rush arrangement, the terms must be confirmed in writing.
  • Replacement orders: If a replacement is approved, it will generally ship using the same service level as the original order unless Foam N More agrees otherwise in writing.

Foam N More is not responsible for incidental or consequential costs arising from delays outside its reasonable control.

4. Shipping Prices and Shipping Review

Shipping charges depend on the size, weight, destination, and packaging requirements of the order.

  • Shipping rates may be higher for destinations farther from Michigan, including the West Coast, Alaska, Hawaii, and international destinations.
  • Some products are difficult to estimate in advance because of their size, shape, or packaging requirements.
  • Shipping charges shown at checkout may be estimates only.
  • Foam N More may review the order after checkout and adjust shipping charges to reflect the actual carrier cost after the order has been packed and rated.
  • If the actual shipping cost is below the minimum threshold charged online (currently $23), Foam N More will refund the difference.
  • If the actual shipping cost is higher than the amount shown at checkout, Foam N More may contact the customer to review and approve the updated amount before proceeding, or the checkout process may state that the customer authorizes adjustment to the actual carrier cost.

Customers who want a more precise estimate before ordering may email Foam N More with the desired items, quantities, and full shipping address.

5. How Orders Ship

  • Small-package orders: Most smaller orders ship by UPS or a similar parcel carrier. Tracking information is typically sent by email after shipment.
  • Freight orders: Larger or heavier orders may ship by freight carrier. Freight deliveries are generally made to the dock, curb, driveway, front door, or garage, depending on the carrier and the delivery location.

On delivery, customers should:

  • Inspect the package or pallet before signing when a signature is required.
  • Understand that protective foam or packaging material may be included for shipment protection and is not necessarily part of the order.
  • Note any visible outer packaging or pallet damage with the driver if the merchandise appears intact.
  • Request additional inspection, when possible, if damage to the merchandise is suspected.
  • Refuse the shipment if the merchandise is clearly damaged and unusable, and take clear photos, both close-up and from a distance.

If a freight shipment is signed for without noting visible damage, the carrier may treat the shipment as delivered in good condition, which can limit the ability to file a claim.

6. Vacuum-Packed Orders and Prompt Inspection

Many open-cell foam products are vacuum-packed to reduce shipping costs and protect the order in transit.

  • Vacuum-packed foam should be opened as soon as possible after delivery.
  • Foam may appear misshapen or undersized immediately after opening; this is normal. Allow 1-2 days for full re-expansion, and for some products, allow up to 2-4 days if stated on the product page.
  • If the foam has not returned to its proper shape after the applicable expansion period, the customer should contact Foam N More with clear photos of the product and packaging.

All reports of misshapen foam, visible shortages, visible shipping damage, or other issues that should reasonably be discovered upon prompt inspection must be provided within 2 weeks of delivery. After that period, Foam N More may be unable to verify the order’s condition upon delivery and may decline the claim. For additional information about non-defective returns, see Cancel, Refund, and Return Policy. For defects in materials and workmanship discovered during normal use, see Limited Warranty Policy.
