Closed-cell foam is a strong, flexible material that's made up of internal pores, or cells, that sit closely together but are not connected. Its structure can be compared to a net filled with balloons, where the balloons are trapped tightly against each other, but they are not interconnected.
Closed-cell foam comes in different types of materials and densities. Below is a list of the various types of closed-cell foam that we carry at Foam N’ More, the leading foam supplier in Michigan.
We offer many types of closed cell foam such as: Ensolite, Neoprene, Volara which comes on a roll, Minicell which comes in 2lbs, 3lbs, 4lbs, & 6lbs density, Polyethylene with your choice of solid & laminated in 2lbs 4lbs, & 6lbs density, Polyethylene rolls and backer rods in Polyethylene or Neoprene foam.

This 4lbs Density Polyethylene Planks-Laminated provides optimal cushioning protection against repeated impacts. It can be used for sports & leisure, medical, construction, military, and recreational packaging and cushioning.
This 4lbs Minicell also known as cross-link polyethylene (XLEP) is a tough and resilient, high-performance packaging-grade foam, exhibiting the excellent mechanical properties. This 4lbs Minicell offer “Class A” surface protection, excellent shock absorption, and compression creep properties, making it ideal for use in material handling applications. Commonly use for Ship and Dock Fenders, void fill, archery target, heavy machinery, automotive and heavy industrial use that required a firm support and withstand multiple bumps and drops.
This 6lbs Minicell Foam also known as cross-link polyethylene (XLEP) is very firm but flexible if its 1” thick and under and very resilient, and buoyant when moving heavy things across the water. This Non-dusting and easy to clean will protect from Bacteria, chemical, grease, mold, oil, and solvent-resistant. We also offer adhesive backing. Also commonly use for heavy machinery and heavy industrial use.
Our 6lbs Density Polyethylene Planks is a high performance cushion that requires less material for packing. It's designed to withstand multiple drops resulting in a pack that can be used many times.
Neoprene has excellent physical properties including abrasion and low temperature resistance. This foam provides thermal and moisture insulation and is flexible and durable which is resistance to petroleum based fluids.
